Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator is accountable for working as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Production Operators can perform some or all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. This role is based in Henderson, NV at our Lake Mead location.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Understand and perform all the tasks required in a particular production process including but not limited to soldering, hand crimping, ultrasonic welding, resistance spot welding.
• Able to use a variety of hand and power tools including glue and hot air guns.
• Ability to understand and interpret work instructions, workmanship criteria and drawings.
• Participate in continuous improvement training including but not limited to cross training to all departments.
• Perform other duties outside their scope of work as assigned and required. 

Qualifications & Competencies:
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of manufacturing production processes in a related industry preferred
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and rotate to other functions as needed
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Must be able to stand entire shift and lift to 45 lbs. at a fast pace
• Working knowledge of computers and office software
• Technical and mechanical aptitude
• Organizational and time management abilities
• Required to work overtime as scheduled
