Founded in 2000, Engineered Power has provided the oilfield industry and beyond with innovative cells and pigging packs for extreme environments. We design and manufacture lithium primary cells that perform in high-temperature, high-shock, and high-vibration conditions—ideal for downhole oilfield tools, pipeline monitoring, and oceanographic equipment.

In 2018, we developed a 3.9V lithium sulfuryl chloride cell for the pipeline and oceanographic industries. These non-rechargeable cells are purpose-built for demanding applications like long-life pressure gauges, offering reliable performance and long shelf life in harsh conditions.

Engineered Power is part of the Lithion Battery family, a North American group specializing in advanced battery cells, packs, and energy storage systems.

‍With manufacturing and support operations in both the U.S. and Canada, plus engineering teams in the UK, Lithion delivers high-performance solutions for critical applications around the world.

Our Henderson, Nevada facility features a fully automated pack production line and prismatic cell manufacturing, along with in-house design, testing, and engineering capabilities—equipping every Lithion brand to scale, adapt, and meet evolving market demands.
