How does the HomeGrid monitoring app work?

This app is primarily for installer fleet monitoring. Installers must be homegrid certified to get a log in. Download the app and contact support (phone number) for more info

How long does it take to install a HomeGrid system?

Experienced installers can install and commission the system in about 15 min. New installers or installs complicated set ups/ multiple batteries in parallel may require 30 min+

What is the maximum number of modules per HomeGrid battery stack?

8 modules per stack (38.4 kWh). Need more capacity? Add more stacks in parallel (up to 15)

How do I connect multiple battery stacks?
  • Stacks are connected using comm cables
  • Link to Parallel video
  • Up to fifteen 8-stacks can be connected together (Inverter limitations may apply)
  • All stacks must have the same number of modules. See manual (insert link) for more info. Always follow all safety regs in the manual and local AHJ regulations

Is the Stack’d Series/HG Cube AC-coupled or DC-coupled?

DC Coupled. Advantages:

  • More efficient (fewer conversions)
  • Potential cost savings (from efficiency)
  • Safe for homes

What inverter brands are compatible with HomeGrid?
  • We have UL9540 for on-grid connections with Sol-Ark (12K-2P and Limitless 15K), Solis, and Megarevo (model number) inverters.
  • For off grid connections, we are “inverter agnostic” and can pair with many different models.
